Recently Christian Care Centers and Crandall formed a partnership. Dietary Manager Heather Ward and Crandall RD Gaya Hart have been working hard together to implement the Crandall systems at CCC of Kuttawa. Both have shown their integrity by implementing every system and providing superior care to the residents in the community.

Communication
Communication - the human connection - is the key to personal and career success.

Brad Lange, Food Service Director at Park Regency Healthcare Center in Chandler, a Brookdale community, was recently named FSD of the month in the Food Service Director Magazine. He has earned the respect of his staff by using a hands-on approach and training by example. Brad has raised the bar on performance and treats them with respect, then works side by side with them which makes his staff eager to learn. He has taught them that the food they put out is a reflection of them and that they need to be proud of what they do.
Resident satisfaction has increased in the eight months since he began working there. Brad goes into the dining room daily and interacts with the residents asking them what they did or did not like about the days meal. He has gained their admiration and respect by doing what they request. His monthly cooking demonstrations have helped the residents get involved in the dining department. Listening and following through are great communication skills.
